After a thorough appraisal of selected publications, we indexed the full text and subsequently assessed the risk of bias using the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions. Patients diagnosed with gout and/or hyperuricemia must undergo continuous pharmacological therapies. It is a prevalent consequence of inflammatory arthritis, commonly causing discomfort and intense pain. Gout refers to the crystallization of uric acid in or around the joints.
